Originally seen on the brownfish This is real surfing, both the action and the lifestyle. I admire Tom for going from a LA lawyer to surfboard builder. So many people get caught up in life and arent willing to make sacrifices financially to improve the quality of the life they're living.

He was an L.A. lawyer? Now I'm an even bigger fan. I am an almost L.A. lawyer. I went to law school, got the degree and decided I hated law and wanted a life. Wegener rules!! Now I've got to get one of his boards!
Yeah, I want to say they talked about it in his section in "Sprout"? I think that was it.
